Is that gun short so you can swing it around in the winter deer yards and shoot any that you don't knock over by hitting them with the barrel?

Back in the day, the MNR (Fish cops) used to feed the deer herds during rough winters. Those areas were referred to as deer yards, old timers would say the deer were "yarded up" when they were all congregated in the feeding areas. I just figured they did that everywhere LOL
