The bayou one one they got set up here in Deheim springs is probably my favorite out of all the ones I've seen . Mainly because of the lil live ducks they have a long with he fish and turtles

I tend to only go during this part of the day to avoid most of the white collar yuppie pricks that seem to flock to these larger places. I swear some of the most insufferable people.....o wait you where probably talking about the prices huh ?

If you ever get a chance to go to BP in Springfield, Mo....you should go. They have a beaver pond inside the store with beavers and otters swimming around in it. Ducks flying around inside store.

Go thru the Wonders of Wildlife museum while you're there....you enter the museum thru the store.

father lives in Springfield. took fam when museum opened it cost a small fortune an that way yrs ago. I prefer academy for my outdoor needs

Their resort is supposed to be something fantastic. I can’t remember what it is called but we could probably never afford that trip. Let the white collar yuppie pricks have it lol!
I never buy anything in bass pro shops. I think once their shorts were on sale and I got a couple pair. They have a pee-poor selection of trapping goods and we have everything else we need for fishing, hunting, archery etc from local shops. But I do like to go inside and see the displays any time we are in Morgantown WV.

Swamp Wolf is right the one in Springfield is really nice and the Wonders of Wildlife is amazing, along with the other museums located at the same location. The one in the Pyramid at Memphis is really cool as well it is like you are entering into a bayou when you go there complete with fog and mist.

I assume you are referring to the cypress knees. If so, those are basically the roots of the cypress tree that will sometimes stick up above the water.

Branson is an hour South of the one in Springfield MO. That chain of lakes is good fishing. The one right there in Branson is Table Rock Lake. Then there is a chain of them from Arkansas to somewhere up North. Great trout fishing. Great bass fishing. If you go to Branson take a duck boat tour and listen to the free things to do. One of the suggestions was the vistors center. Free entry and a museum of local history. Probably one of the neatest stops. The water coming out of the dam of Table Rock Lake is ice cold, like walking to the river in July sweating and getting to the water edge and someone turned on the AC cold. Like stand in the water and your legs are numb cold. In July. Anyway the fishing is good.

I see your fever still hasn't broken yet. Have you thought of wrapping up in an electric blanket while taking a good hot bath?
