I've ben loading and using .22 Hornet for close to 40 years. I have a lot of bullets for it and a pound of powder goes a long way using only 9 grains of 2400 per round. ( $0.06) Sierra 1012 bullet ( $00.25 ) small rifle primer ( $00.07 ) so .38 cents a round. I remember when they hit .50 cents a round my dad blowing a gasket. Now they seam to be hovering at about $1.50 or more per round. That's pretty expensive squirrel hunting.

Just passin through

Got to love the Hornet. That’s 777 rounds per pound of powder! I use 10.2 gr so not quite as many per pound
