What was the first line of defense, local cops ? Barney Fife ?
Cops whose typical day is filled with writing traffic tickets and barking dog complaints ? Don't forget guzzling coffee & wolfing down doughnuts !!!  w

You guys are cruel, but then I cannot think of a set of men in blue that deserve it more unless they held while a gunman cutdown kids (Parkland FL and Uvalde TX if I remember right).
I'd rather find out they are incompetent than part of a plot to allow an assassination of a popular candidate and former POTUS.

Can be both, a little Column A, a little Column B. I mean we DID have FBI agents try to stop Trump before he was elected the first time, and even texted about their " insurance policy". Weaponized incompetence? Malicious stupidity? Lots of unanswered questions. Which we'll likely never get thevtrue answers to

I have watched several videos people took of the shooter before he shot they all were telling police someone is up there with a gun and police did nothing. police did not seem to interested guess it was time for a donut break.

Look you can get a free app called pitch gauge and all you'd need is a photo of the gable end of that pole barn. Incidentally you can get on Google maps, switch to the sat overview and with a left click then a right you will get the range to within a very small margin of error. Add that to the fact that when shooting form high to low (with in limits) range would be nearly irrelevant because gravity straightens out your trajectory to follow your site line.
What I am saying is that this 20 year old was no einstein but he was obviously more than a match for a fed agency with a basically unlimited budget. What was his load out (super tacti-cool word for all internet spec ops gurus)? A scoped AR and a range finder that was noted at the gate?
