I like the skeeter mesh BnB. So long as I wear earth tones under it and sit still I blend in just fine.

Shhh don't tell the Hex suit guys...

To a T. I have gone to Kuiu for western hunting, I still cover a lot of miles afoot for an old guy. I’m amazed at how comfortable, lite, windproof, warm yet breathable they can make clothing these days. Up and down working coyotes, mulies, or even elk all day and not cracking a sweat is worth gold to me. Most colors blend, motion draws attention.

When you’re the babysitter turned “substitute shooter” and you dig through your truck looking for anything remotely neutral, lol. Luckily I was supposed to check traps after they got done hunting and had boots. Found a lightweight shirt I use to keep skeeters off when thermal hunting and found a face mask that had almost turned purple from lying on the dash, lol. Looking like that while trying to melt into a pecan tree proves it ain’t about the camo, lol.

As long as I'm wearing blue jeans, I have a really good chance at getting something. I buy expensive hunting clothes to keepe dry, not necessarily for the camo pattern. How I move through the woods matters much more than what I'm wearing.

I'm still impressed with your big buck killin' skills on public land!

When you can hike through mountains and elevation in 30 degree weather and a rain storm and not sweat or get wet from the outside is why I buy the hunting clothes I do. I average 8-9 miles a day on my out of state trips on all public land. Ain’t no way you’re wearing Walmart clothes and getting it done, just ain’t happening.
My wife swears the camo pattern on my expensive stuff looks like Walmart pajamas camo. All I know is I stay cool when it’s hot, warm when it’s cold, dry when it’s pouring or the sun is shining.
