I find it hard to believe that anyplace WANTS to host! It is a financial drain that many cities can never recover from. The billions spent on new venues to only ever be partially filled once. Let alone the bill for bussing out the rif raf…

We still watch alot of the games, I like the obscure events that we can't normally watch. I love America, and feel alot of our athletes do too! That being said, when I saw who were chosen to present our flag at the opening ceremony, I knew it would be an s show. I don't watch that crap, but I enjoy seeing the world's best compete.

Hollywoods going broke but keep doing stupid stuff, Disney has lost billions but won't back down, parents still haul their kids to their over priced parks so they keep funding all the crap they complain about and wonder why it keeps getting worse. Keep watching NFL and Olympics so they can keep funding all the crap you don't like and groups actively working over time to put a stop to trapping/hunting or anything else involving an animal.

Well I am now sort of glad that my parents are no longer alive, if either of them saw this I can not think of what they would say. A total embarrassment as far as I am concerned........Guess I am glad I am 80 and don't follow the games now. I used to years ago and was proud about them but not now......jk
