Dang if I didn't decide to check out google to look for a couple firearm stores while in Sioux Falls and discovered that Sioux Falls is the headquarters for Silencer Central. Absolutely great folks to do business with from my perspective.

They have certainly grown over time to be a big one in suppressors. I don't know if they have sort of "retail" front or not that people can stop by ad check things out. Last I heard, they had multiple buildings in town.

Maybe I should look there I'm tired of waiting for silencer shop to get things back in stock. At this point the extra transfer time from out of state dealer to in state dealer would still be faster

I stopped in Saturday and was greeted quickly by a young salesman. They had units on display, but I wouldn't call it a 'showroom' per say. He answered all my questions and walked me through the process...very painless. The building was very impressive, it appears they are doing very well ...

Stop in they will try to sell you one they have a storefront South of Sioux Falls.

A great place to shop from time to time! Last time I was there it only took 6 minutes and I had one bought, paper work done. Waited two months and it arrives at my door. Awesome!

This facility was on the north side, huge building, probably warehouse/HQ. They sold them out of this place also....

Must of moved again they were in a strip mall when a buddy picked up his there they had just moved there back then they keep growing it sounds like.

Bought my first from them and liked it so much I ordered another on May 7. Even the first process was seamless, this second one took 2 calls and submitted to ATF. I guess all my info was still valid so from first call to submission was a total of 5 days. I have the Banish 30 and love it. I’ve been told they suck but I have nothing to compare it to and if they suck then there must be some Hollywood styles out there somewhere, lol.
With regular ammo, no hearing protection required. Critters don’t have a clue where the sound came from either.
With subsonic ammo my .308 is about as loud as a powerful pellet gun.
I honestly don’t want to shoot a rifle unsuppressed again, lol.

Providence I believe Silencer Central is a licensed dealer in the vast majority of states. They will ship it right to your front door.

No sir, not yet. I do a trust to make sure my son gets them if something happens. My first took right at 8 months. I was “told” this should take about half that time.
It’s my understanding that individual e-files are anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.

I purchased the 22 rimfire unit. He said now that im in their system, a simple phone call is all ill need for any further purchases within 2 years. If outside of the 2 years, I need to supply an updated photo. As 49er mentioned, itll be shipped right to my door....

Yep they will send directly to your door In all stated you can own one no need to go to a store. Now the couple I was looking at and trying to decide between siclincer Co omega 36m and rugged Alaskan are both a few hundred more expensive than on silincer shops sight. BUT THEY ARE IN STOCK. so even if they were 800 cheaper at silincer shop it's irrelevant since they have been out of stock for months. Now I have wated for up to 16 months for suppressor approval before and the waiting gets easier after the first few. BUT it would be nice to get one of these before the end of September so my 14 year old has it for youth season but trust probably wo t com back that fast and all mine have bee. On trust.

So it's decision time. Decide on model and decide if I want to fe a form 4 as an Individual for fast approval and get possession faster then spend another $200 for another form 4 and transfer it to the trust after I have it. So my son gets to hunt with it during youth deer on his new 350 legend. His bother myn12 year old pocked out his 350 first so has been using my old liberty mystic suppressor on his. He got to shoot 5 last year with that combo. Only seems fair to even them up. Especially since the youngest. 22 came threaded so he gets a suppressor kn it and my 14 year olds .22 Is not threaded so he doesn't have one to hunt with on that either.

Basically I'm used to waiting on form 4s to come back, but with faster approval times I was OK waiting for them to be back in stock at silincer shop. Now that has not happend with faster approval time came increased demand and short supply. Now time is short so if I want it by deer season and on A trust it will cost me an extra tax stamp. Just like next day air shipping when your in a hurry its more expensive

Nothing against silencercentral but I long for the day their business model is longer needed and can be replaced by the local mom and pop convience store as it should be.

Shouldn't need a license to buy a muffler. I can run into any parts store and buy one for my car.

And I can kill just as many or more with my car if I were of that mindset.
