Did another 13 pints of tomatoes.

We always use to open kettle can tomatoes, boil the
tomatoes down steam the jars put your tomatoes in
seal them and let them cool.

The last three or four years been water bathing them,
thought it might be a little safer.

We put up 28 quarts of peppers on Tuesday. I cut up 1 bushel of snackers and 1/2 peck of green peppers, I bought at auction and 1 peck of banana peppers and a few green peppers I grew. I mixed them all together. It's pretty that way.

We are doing 1 1/2 bushels of Roma tomatoes today. It will be pints of salsa and quarts of tomatoes sauce.

Wow many are far ahead of me. Mine are just starting to ripen and lots of flowers on yet! Got my first dozen ripe ones today. Vines on most look really good. Salsa first, then stewed, juice then the sauces if there are enough tomatoes.
