If memory serves, there are some pretty harsh punishments for violating those........as in "penalty is death", and I don't think that was in the spiritual sense. Are there any Christians or Jews that enforce those.......in the literal sense?

I'm not in favor of doing any harm to any muslims or others of different faiths. But if they want to practice their faith as they seem to want to do, then they need to do it elsewhere. There is a part of the world that is more or less designated as a sacrificial zone........let them all live there and practice their faith on each other.
