Honey Crisp sell like crazy. Orchards are just really starting to pick early apples here. Lots of them are still working on harvesting later blueberry varieties and haven’t moved fully onto apples yet. It’ll be way into October before all apples get in around me. Last year by end of October/first of November many were getting dumped on ground as there wasn’t much of any cold storage space left. Some they didn’t even bother picking. I’m predicting a repeat this year to an extent with some varieties

I bought.40 bushel.of apples yesterday..I sold 20. Unloaded the rest ladt night then i went back up this morning and bought 30 boxes of peaches and 30 more bushels of apples

I sold all the peaches and apples I bought today in 3 hours today.
We are loading the other 20 bushel left from yesterday now and im.ordering a other load tomorrow for Saturday.

I love this crap.

I bought 20 watermelons today and gave them away to my customers to show my appreciation for their business.

( Jerry aidniys to ease the guilt for telling greasing i just gave em, lol)

One lady told me I was a really good salesman today

Are you buying the fruit straight from the growers, or at auction?

I'd eat a pile of them!
When it's hot like this I get to where I think I am played out and I do GCP's trick and drink some pickle juice. Then if there is some fresh fruit chilled I dive in. Either I catch my 2nd wind or at least I got something good to eat.
