And run a flat file ...to square up that dog....and clean it up

I get too frustrated already. Although I’ll keep it in mind when I’m feeling feisty

Ashley, Check out Coon Creek Outdoors video on night latching. It’s an easy to follow video. Get the right size file. Eric

Now Mill’s trigger the thing and never have to worry about it again. Night latch stink can’t stand them.

I filed night latches into all my K9 traps. So easy to set even when its not quite daylight out yet.You know the pans level when you hear the click.

I like night latches when done properly. I've tinkered with enough traps to all but outsmart my darn self. I once took some nice bridges or northwoods and added nightlatches before deciding to take the dog off the frame and grind the corners off its pivot point and neck the dog back down to this new radius. WRONG! Now each dog was an 1/8th of an inch too long.

I should have just ate the shipping and had The Hammer make em all dogless.

Mills trigger I can hear that click from three feet away. No problem in the dark pans level every time and I don’t have to carry a tool to adjust the pan Tension.

If you don’t feel like filing in the notches, you can always get ya some paws I trip setup. Although I never got any for my dukes,,, I did get them for my victor #3 double longs. Most of us like to do the file work instead of buying the paws I trip because it’s cheaper and we simply like playing with our traps.
I only bought the paws I trip because I couldn’t get the slop out of the pan …
