Currently I've moved my monthly donations to Gun Owners of America and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. GOA especially seems to be making some awesome accomplishments.

I've always said the NRA is made up of the little guys doing the ground work, the range safety, the education, the lobbying, etc. The Executive Board got out of hand and lost sight of the mission. The NRA is its 5 million members, not the board.

As for the NRA endorsing current Anti-Gunners in the past......if there is one leopard that changes its spots with the direction of the wind, it's our elected officials.

Lifetime benefactor member too. Also a life member of CCRKBA.
Your post sums it up pretty good.

Same sentiment as Deerhunter82 and Cragar, Today there are organizations which more aggressively work to defend the second amendment and the Constitution.

I'm a proud NRA life member. If it's not for you, join the Second Amendment Foundation, another group I'm a Life Member of.

After my life experiences with the NRA I am glad I never became a member. If what I wrote in the beginning of the thread does not make you question the organization then how can you justify belonging to the NRA ? I find trappers overall say they support each other but when it comes down to actually doing something they are pretty non committal which is why the antis have won so much.

The antis win because bullies don’t learn much through timeouts.
