Then there is western swing.......which is not dead........it's Asleep at the Wheel. Modern era Bob Wills. Now going on 40 years.........rarely are played on the radio......so a band many have never heard of. One common theme is band leader Ray Benson. Am reminded of an old football coach who said of his team.......it's a well tuned machine. A part breaks down.........you replace the part........and the machine keeps running.

Mostly play small venues...........last time I saw them play I looked around and noticed next table over was Leroy Van Dyke.....the auctioneer. But when the Wheel gets on a roll l it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
