Bruce-They are coming over my house like that every morning and night. There's a huge field acrossethe road and they pile in there.

My dog is doing the same thing. Worse than raccoons!

We have thousands of permenent resident Canadian Geese around us. We won't see the migratory ones for a bit. We have an early goose season with higher harvest rates per day so we can trim down the flock.
Being close to the lake and a lot of ponds dug around cities and along the interstates there are plenty of places for geese to raft on and there seems to be enough feed in the fields.

Same here. They fly over are house all the time. Our vehicles can attest to that!

We live 1/4 mile from one marsh with two sections each about 30 acres there are two others 1/2 mile away on the other side of use. Several family groups fly directly over our place many, many days and several days twice a day. I don't want to crawl up on my roof to see what that looks like. They do freeze over so they are gone from ice up to ice out. One owner put out a coyote decoy on a small slough right in town that usually had 2-3 family groups. This year there were none there.

Must be resident geese eh? Should start seeing them move soon, but there’s a friggin heat warning here this weekend….

Noticed some small groups moving around yesterday. Soon the beaver will be building feeds beds to get ready for a looong cold winter. Last year they built their feed beds super late, like they knew they didn’t need much. We’ll see if they’re better than the ole farmers tabernack…….lol
