The only complaint about Scheels I have is you can not buy ammo online from them anymore without going through the requirement to verify age through ID.me, which some view as an invasion of privacy. I buy there in person regularly.

I love Scheels. Theyll price match anything you find online cheaper than they have it as long as its a regular priced nonsale item. Had a pair of Crispi boots last fall come apart at the toe after maybe 15 pheasant hunts. Crispi’s website explicitly says to send everything back to Crispi and NOT the retailer. I asked the boot dude at Scheels and his response was “you spent $350 on boots and they should last. We sold them to you. Bring them to me and you will have a new pair immediately”. And he did just that.

Great business, we spend quite a bit there. I’m fine with that

I bought my first traps from them. With the sale price and free shipping they were the cheapest I found at the time. Also order a couple bags of flake wax. One of the bags was damaged in transit as they were packed with the traps. A simple call and within minutes had a new bag headed my way. Great customer service.

Scheels is my go to for everything outdoors anymore. Will not take my business to Bass Pro/Cabela's. They forgot what customer service was and Scheel's customer service is TOP NOTCH!

Heck, I can go there just to look at the ladies that shop there.

I like Scheels. They sometimes have free shipping no minimum purchase required.

Scheels had a benelli ultralight today that was 1200 bucks. Great shape. Thats cheaper than gunbroker. I have a gun to trade and some scheels gift cards….

Unfortunately Cabela's isn't what it was 25 years ago. Since they sold, I rarely visit their site, or bass pro, they are one and the same afterall

Schells is better then the corporation that owns Cabela's company now.

It’s nice having them a short drive if I need something. Ammo, trapping stuff, fishing stuff, whatever.

Scheels is our go to these days. Bass Pro/Cabeals I can't even support them anymore. Heck they sponsor our Great Nephew in racing and I won't shop there. LOL

Yep I have to stop in the one in Fargo every time I'm there wether I need something or not. As others have said great customer service. I switched to there credit card after bass pro bought Cabela's. Never looked back.

Id never heard of the place until I worked in South Dakota.Went to the one in Rapid City,highly recommend it.Another great store on a smaller scale was Runnings.

Unfortunately nothing is local, nearest scheels 8 hr drive, cabela'ss 5 hrs, Sportsmans warehouse 2.5 hrs.mikey D's 1hr same ad wally world

Had a scheels brand pop up blind that a range bull decided didn't belong at the water hole we wanted to hunt, busted it all up. Tried to buy parts to fix it and scheels wouldn't sell me any. They insisted on replacing it free of charge.
