Squirrels are slick, I bet that's your culprit. I use 160s for chucks. Never fails. Unless you can't use those where you live.

Question...don't ghogs hibernate? My Sis needs one trapped but her hubby wants to wait for a winter pelt and get it stuffed.

they lay up in winter from my understanding. The boys are after another one now but it's in the woods by the barn not in the barn. its giving them fits and has not gone for the fruit. so far only got a possum. probably need to ask Mr Jameson what bait smash should have gotten and send him my cc# and address so they can catch it before winter and it lays up.
