The food they make is good. My cousin use to be married to a Filipino and they asked me over.

Im not a big news watcher but they acted like on the news last night that China keeps harassing Philippines and that its only a matter of time before theres flash in the pan. Something about NATO says Philippines has 200 miles of coast line in the China Sea that China doesn't recognize the treaty for. So any Philippine ships get rammed and harassed just off the shore, not speaking even out where the line is per NATO. So maybe that's how it pops off. Hopefully they haven't marched any Chinese across our border. Hopefully they haven't bought up any US land. Hopefully any terrorists that happen to be here don't see it has a starting point to cause mass ciaos.

Had neighbors from the Philippines. Every weekend they family would get together and have a big to do.

Grandpa Lived with them next door.
He offered me one of his favorites, a whole goose egg, he would tap a small hole in one end and suck the juice out of it then break it open and eat the partially developed gosling.
I don't think they cooked it at all, maybe very little if at all.
I gave it a shot, it was as you expect a raw egg to taste like.

They did a lot of fishing on Winnebago, they'd keep anything and everything they caught. Alot of Sheepshead. They would just slice the side of the fish open, just the meat above the rib cage, then bake it with guts in and all.
After it was done you'd pick the skin off and pick at the meat and eat.

The Mom made the VERY BEST eggrolls, I miss those!
