"More than 20 local Teamsters groups have parted ways with the national organization to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election.
Why it matters: That support represents one million members including councils in battleground states of Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, per the Harris campaign.
It also is at odds with the national organization's decision not to endorse a candidate even though the union representing 1.3 million members had historically endorsed Democrats. That includes President Biden in 2020."
Source: Axios
Teamsters regional councils — representing hundreds of thousands of members and retirees — in Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and western Pennsylvania — endorsed Harris hours after Teamsters President Sean O’Brien revealed Wednesday that the union would withhold its endorsement, saying, “neither major candidate was able to make serious commitments to our union.”
Separately, powerful local Teamsters unions in Philadelphia; New York City; Long Beach, Calif.; and Miami — as well as the union’s National Black Caucus and a group of retirees — have endorsed Harris and urged members to vote for her.

Haha, you hit a sore subject there. The so called Patriots on here even defended them for taking a knee, lol. Of course they don’t care if they’re union, they just don’t want the blue collar man to make any money. Don’t know of too many non-management nonunion guys retiring as millionaires either. Not saying there aren’t any, I just know more Union guys retiring that way. It certainly looks as if it might be a sore subject with everyone. No one will admit guilt. YET. Wait a few hours til the games start and game threads start Lol I'm glad that I can say that I have not watched a single minute of any NFL game since the Colin Kaepernick shenanigans took place. I didn't watch very much before that, they totally lost me when that crap happened. I'm watching the Vikings vs. Texans game right now. But then, I don't care who is in a union and who isn't.

well white men watching men in tights run around chasing a ball is kind of well.....
As far as unions I guess you would rather people be living in company housing and shopping at the company store . they have quite a few problems but have done a ton of good.
. What does race have to do with watching football?

What does race have to do with watching football? well considering I was responding to white and you can't quote more than 2 post at a time and if I had quoted him it would have been 3 I just addressed him.. I guess I should have added the 17 so it was more clear. Very sad there is always someone being race sensitive. maybe it's tahr white guilt I never thought was a real thing.

I despise all unions and can truthfully say I have not watched any football game in at least sixty years X2 except I watched a football game about 20 years ago in a bar.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
