Unions are good for union members only
The end user pays for it all. Why a new pickup costs what it does.
Why non-union members have to buy China goods at Walmart.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

In that case, it sounds like the union members should unionize against the unions, who take their money, don't represent them and use the money they take against the union members' interests. This entire thread makes unions look very bad.

The main non union automotive companies pay virtually the same wages, without taking a cut of the workers' wages.

Doubt it, 20 years in the Army gave me a pretty strong work ethic

I'm sure that the fact that a successful real estate developer with a known history of working well with unions to get things done is on the ballot might play into it.

Do you blame other for all your problems? Wages and benefits go up for non union people when there is a union option becuse the non union place is competing for the same labor pool. People have more disposable income spen that money on new things that in turn create more jobs. Broke people don't stimulate the economy.

If they TRULY represented their members, they WOULD make an endorsement...

Internal poll, phone poll was within 2% of this one.

Serious questions: Does union membership elect their leadership? If they do, why don't they vote out leadership that doesn't reflect majority opinion? If they don't, how does one get into a leadership position?
I don't know how unions work since I was self employed my entire working career.

I have voted on local offices but never on international spots. Honestly it's just the best paying job with the best benefits to me nothing more. I posted this just becuse few of the people with union derangement syndrome seem to want to believe more union members vote R than D. Since this is a more left pushing news source I fig it would be good to show that.

That's because having a vehicle made by union members adds no additional value to it. The quality is no better and may be worse.

A big disadvantage of buying union made vehicles is that the democrats are going to profit from it.

Yup. They want their members dues, just not their opinions.

this statement is demonstrably incorrect. in fact, the mere fact of this particular thread proves that.

you have ALWAYS taken union criticism as a PERSONAL affront.

I have stated that my only real problems with unions is their support of Commie politicians.

fwiw...I've been union and I've been NOT union (by choice)
