What is a 'club' lamb?



Lambs or any of the large animals that are regularly shown at the fairs or open/jackpot shows and marketed to the 4H/FFA kids are called club animals as opposed to commercial breeding stock going for farm /ranch operations.

What a gorgeous lamb, Nessy. I just love the fairs. Used to show my winning Dutch Bantams in the fairs. And help out in the barns with the draft horses.

Such a wonderful life for kids to grow up in.
