That's the wonderful world of retail! I was in Wally World yesterday, and they're already loading up the shelves with C-mass crap.

By supplying what consumers are demanding? I guess the next time coon prices go up to $30 you'd better sit out the rush instead of trapping those golden triangle coons to increase your bottom line... especially since it would be better for you to focus on coyotes ($8) or beaver ($15), that cause more damage to the ecosystem than coon do.

As I said earlier... blame the people buying this stuff 4 months ahead of time... not the businesses capitalizing on it!

LOL wolfie specializes ....

I never cared for most holidays. Especially aftah one researches their beginnings. That's a moot point.

Angela has it at it's roots. It's the demand that drives the engine.

I don't care for Christmas stuff. Not even real trees, which I feel are a waste of beautiful forests that could grow for better usage.

I detest Halloween.

I do agree with Wanna be...about the candy-mainly chocolates on sale aftah the events.

Always did like Thanksgiving, just for the nice things folks do for each other of different cultures where I've lived, from FLA to Hawaii . The kindness that neighbors do for each other in cuisines shared at those times were amazing.

I understand, Nancy ....some things staaht way too early. Some things don't even need to staaht at all . IMO .

wink

I never so many Grinch's lived on here, wow this has been eye opening! Christmas' of the past i can't remember what i got for a present BUT i remember the joy of all my family being together at once for a few days and how sad it was to see them leave as i knew life was going to return back to just the normal day to day boring drag. Family has all passed away now, not much left but a few of us so i can take it or leave it now. But i guess todays society it's all about who got the latest bestest this or that.

For us trappers christmas is months long- a present under every tree every day on the line.

Boco this is what is wrong with my mother and she doesn’t realize it. It’s a sickness. She gets depressed when yard sale season is over
