I will be going to s/e mo sunday and will camp out sunday night and then probably monday night in central/west mo. camp out all the time....tent with a floor until it is below 40 for highs...usually right next to the vehicle. got a topper for mt 3/4 ton and will be setting it up with a bed and wood stove....
Traveled to denver a few weeks ago and camped out 3 nights on the trip. stopped to shower at state parks. every rest area in kansas on I70 has spots to camp overnight and dump stations. pretty nice spots actually...

s/e mo is se of me. if your smart enough to use a tent with a floor and have dc fan available it really does not matter much as far as camping. do I need to go to georgia to be a good camper?

Heck nah, but I do think 90 degree temps with 65%+ humidity is a requirement for SE qualifications Sounds like kansas where I live off grid with no ac cept in two of my trucks. Childs play....

Yeah, we’ve experienced some hot temps out there as well. One year we’d be needing something for warmth, the next year our thinnest clothes weren’t thin enough, lol. We were in North central Kansas. I remember turning my Thermacell on and using it as a hand warmer!! And that was the last week of May!
