Do you have to take meds for life now, like anti rejection drugs, and stuff?

Your a good guy , your reward will come .

My Dad had a heart valve replaced with a pig valve. Sore chest and limited weight lifting for a while (I don't remember the specifics). Lived till 86 without any other heart problems.

2013 I had an aortic heart valve replacement. I have a piece of cow cardium in and they start looking, more closely at them after 10 years. It was open heart surgery as the valve is 1.25 inches. Now they say they can put a liner in through the groin when this one goes bad. I was born with a defective heart valve and it was not detected until I was 62.

I looked this valve up, it's micro surgery or open heart, they didn't say anything about going in from the femoral artery
