Just seen this on the news. What states require testing of bats found in living areas where people were sleeping? Oregon does not, however with my company we require it. Just a company policy I thought made sense after hearing some states do require it.

If the customer wakes up with the bat flying in their room the bat needs to be tested, or they can get the shots.

I'm just wondering what states require this? I thought I heard some do. Laws and common cense don't always mix.

I believe in my state it is not "required" but highly recommended. It's the first thing I say to the customer in such a situation.

Recommend in wa if exposed to start shots is the bat is not captured for testing

Testing is not required

Just had a family from canada have the issue,,,,,, they had to do the shots in America because Canada did not honor there claim ,,,,$$$$$

thats crazy to hear... always hear about canada and their "free" healthcare. My 4 rabies shots cost $16,000!!!
