Seen several walking sticks in MO this week even had a praying mantis flying around the cabin. No sticks here but a few mantis around.

I have thousands of preying mantises here. In my smallest hayfield, which didn't get mowed, there's a preying mantis every few feet. I have not seen a walking stick in many years.

One of my favorite bugs for sure!!!

Hadn't seen any in decades... but since moving here to MS have seen 2-3 of them.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

I took a walk in a forest in Panama years ago and saw walking sticks that were a foot long. All the insects were huge. Never seen one here in France. Praying mantis and katydids are very common.

Had a walking stick on the post for the carport a few weeks ago. I usually see a few every year but only in extreme late summer or fall.
