If Stephen is correct, then my take on it is that the Jews won't get their act together until the 2nd coming of Christ. As my way of reading Acts, Stephen was implying that the Jews always get it wrong the first time, but get it right the second time.

Until then, we can expect more chaos and evil; particularly when the Jews bring in their mashiach; which best I can tell will be what Christians call the AC.
