I’ve fed diamond naturals to mine for about 10 years now I think with good results. Sure there is better stuff out there but it’s pretty decent I think, 41 bucks for 40lb bag here.

Fiddy yrs ago in the city of angels we had a hole in the back fence behind the farm equipment shed....

Dad brought home one of them German Shepards from the pound to keep the mezicans from crawling through....

Worked pretty good

Read the nutrition statements on the bag. Some of the high dollar dog foods have less nutritional value than the cheaper brands. Zinc and Vitamin A very a lot from each brand. One of the brands mentioned above is not even made here in the US. Up until a few years ago Ol" Roy had more nutrition value than any brand but it is not that way today.

This gym gets Science Diet. I found some great dog food at Big R last month that was pretty good stuff at a good price I’ll try and find what it was and post

the price keeps going up and the bag keeps getting smaller

we have been feeding Mounds all life stages for over a decade

I think they stared as 40 pound bags

down to 30 now

and the price is up

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Your hounds will git spoilt and think you like em. I fed Jackpot the Aussie Ol Roy an whatever kinda gravy I had left over near the end of her life and she was fat up until her last day. She might have begged an occasional scrambled egg once a week or so but I sure never broke the bank. I still had a kid in college an a red headed GF with lots off issues to spend a mountain of money on at the time.
