BruceT, I hope yours shoots better than ours does. Have to be awful close to hit much of anything. Good snake gun. This is the turkey model one.It will reach out and get them.My brother bought one last year to rabbit hunt with and I was quite impressed as I could not believe the shots he was making and the distance.I had to get one.

What if you miss on the first shot? Im pretty quick getting another shell in I have basically the exact same gun but it’s a Savage or a Stevens, I bought it for turkey hunting but I think it would also be a great road hunting gun for grouse.

Heck yeah.
Bring some slugs and even bag a deer.
410 isn't a good slug gun for deer. A 20 gauge is a much better option as a slug gun for deer.
As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

410 isn't a good slug gun for deer. A 20 gauge is a much better option as a slug gun for deer. A buddy of mine shot his first moose with a .410 slug. Was very popular to carry a couple 410 slugs in your left pocket while grouse hunting, back in the day anyway.

.410's are now legal for Deer in Mo, even that small of slug through the heart/lungs will down a Deer.

We bought my son one and I love the feel, still not sure on the shooting part. I bought some tss shells the patterns was good, but cheaper shells I'm not sure. We was shooting roughly 35 to 40 yards hitting the target but putting very little bbs in with out using the tss shells.
I'm hoping this year he is bigger and can shoulder his 870 20ga.

When the boys were little I bought one that came with 3 barrels for $200. 22, 243, and 20Ga. I use it now as my trapping rifle. Great little gun

how are you doing finding 410 ammo? it might be the only thing I haven't seen on the shelf. I think I would have to figure in the price of reload equipment with the gun if I were getting a 410 or 28g.. it would make them very economical with the limited amount of shot and powder they use vs cots of them and limited availability. I really hope I don't run across a nice over and under or see in either gage becue I have a weakness for thin light handling shotguns. lucky for me the good ones are expensive and keep me from buying them when I have more shotguns to use than Need now as it is I can justify the cost if the B brands edit MS Langley, It's a shotgun not a rifle so he is correct what rifle. Got to poke the moma bear some just cant resist.

Now I gotta go beat my husband for embarrassing me in front of the guys, especially my bestie.
