-3C sure sounds colder than 27F! Leather looks purty white for October beaver. They'd be blue here this time of year.

Shakey, I know a very good Oregon beaver trapper that skins just the way you describe. Stretches them round too. Kind of old school.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
