If you order directly from them, you can order them powder coated white. I’m not sure how it will hold up over time, but they sure do look nice right now.
As far as bigger springs - I don’t know which springs I have, but I can’t imagine anything with stronger springs. These are very stiff.

The early NO BS wolf traps were modified TS-85's, I believe. Are the new versions the same, with bigger springs, or are the jaws also a new addition?
Just doing what I want now.

I've never seen one with the smaller springs, that is interesting. I thought they all had TS-85 springs. They are their own trap, but very similar to the TS-85. So close that I often call them a modified TS-85, although the only actual same parts I believe are the springs. The jaws are much stouter on a NO-BS, same geometry but I'm not sure that you can mount NO-BS jaws on a TS85. I've thought about trying it to replace some bent up jaws on my TS85s, but since I didn't have any NO BS jaws around I've always managed to straighten the TS85 ones. While I like the stouter jaws on the NO-BS, one advantage of the lighter jaws is if a large hooved critter manages to get caught in them they will bend the jaws and self release, relieving you of the necessity to release them. Never had a wolf bend the TS-85 jaws.
By the way I have always made my own setters, the pair I made years ago for a wolf trap I made fit and will set both the Duke 850s and the AK 9s, but I have to carry a seperate pair to set the TS85 and/or NO-BS. Bernie in North Idaho makes a pair of setters that will set all of them as well as most any other wolf traps, Bridger 9, CDR, Bridger 5, MB750, etc.

If I could get Bernie's contact info Dm to me, I would like to learn more about his setters. Are there any pictures? Thanks!

bearcat could you pass along Bernie’s info to me as well? I’ve been using the NO BS traps this year for the first time and am not a fan of the cradle style setters that they sell.
Thanks Done, you're welcome.

I just picked up a few white powder coated ones from dambeaver before any tariffs kick in….lol. $185CAD Here’s Bernie’s setters. Are these adjustable to fit everything? Hard to tell in the pic.

How’s the “creep” on these things? Do you do any filing to the pan trigger area or is it “click” and any more movement it fires?
