A lady I know who had just had shingles said she wouldnt wish that on her ex husband

Never been a vaccine conspiracist but after the past few years I'm leery as heck.

But the two examples I've personally seen I'm considering it.

Dad got laid up with it and near bout got crippled in one leg. Uncle Ben got taken out by shingles he was one of those always working and moving guys that still plowed with a mule. Shingles put him in the bed and his system just cascaded from there.

I didn't take The Jab, but this one makes sense (to me, at least!)

Been dealing with post hepatic neuralgia from shingles for about 7 months now. Get the shot.

My Sister-in-Law got vax'ed injured from the shingles shot probably 6 to 8 years ago. A couple of sustained side effects, one is her equilibrium but the issue comes and goes. My brother was still practicing medicine at the time and entered her vax injury into the VAERS system.

I think my dad had shingles once but I think he's the only adult I've known that's had it. I turned 62 last week so I've known a good number of people over time.

Perhaps there are shingles "clusters" where people get it more often than other locations. Maybe there's some genetic linkages, who really knows. I suspect the medical industry doesn't really know either but they came up with a product they can sell the public.

I've never had the flu shot either, basically because I don't get influenza that often, maybe about once every ten years. When I had 'vid -- I suspect it was vid because the wife and elderly mother-lin-law got it at about the same time and they both got tested, my case was like having influenza, beat up sick for about a week. They both got the monoclonal antibody treatment before the gov decided not to make it anymore. It seemed to help them, but both of them have underlying health issues.

I like how they handled my then 85-year old MiL. She got tested on Tuesday and they said come back Friday and we'll run the infusion into you. The next day after getting infused she was still feeling like crap and my wife was still pretty sick so I took MiL into ER and I obediently stood in the corner with a mask on (didn't tell any of the ER people that I was still sick but it was New Years and not a lot of patients there). The old lady doesn't drink enough water and was basically dehydrated, The ran a liter, maybe a liter and half of fluid into her, and sent her home. And she was felling better by the next day. Not 100% but feeling better. So it goes...

Had the double dose vaccine in the past year. The first shot had my arm feeling like someome took a Louisville slugger to it. My advice, if you have a favorite slide to sleep on, have the shot in the other arm

I never took the Covid jab, but I have had the shingles shots. My brother had shingles and was pretty miserable for a fair amount of time. Made the decision easier. I'm, generally, the kind of guy who just powers through most stuff, but I'm not stupid.

I had the series of shots 2 years ago . The first one put me down for 48 hours. The first 24 hours I sat on the couch with the chills and probably would have felt better if a Mack truck would have hit me . But with the 2nd one I never had a problem .
