What would you do if you caught a monkey on the trapline? Will there be any chance in South Carolina?

1983, I caught a monkey in gray fox set, south east of Indepence, Mo. Belonged to couple, who let it escape, and thought it was gone for ever. Had no idea, it was around. There mean nasty, strong, very quick. Took myself ,and another guy to get it out of foot hold. When we got through the agent showed up and took it. Drive up on a monkey, is about the craziiest, encounter I've had , on the cat, fox yote line. It was cold as all get out that morning, and monkey, was lucky, it snowed very heavy that afternoon. Doubted it would have survived.

I think there was a kids book about that.
I think ,I might take the phone a warden option on that one.
cause while it definitely isn't on the protected list nor the game animal list it would technically fall under any other species not listed the zoo might want it back.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Grey fox sets catch Monkeys,,,red ones dont.

So do I my aunt had a pet one when I was a kid, nasty, dirty filthy creatures, I don’t see how anybody that has ever actually dealt with them can like the things, the only things worse are chimps
