Angela we do have two trail cams out and we see where they funnel in. Since I’m scared in a tree stand we got one of those little one person pop up blinds and tucked it in along the trail (it is so cute I call it my Pizza Hut)
Just waited for one to come along and be rewarded. We knew eventually it would unfold and it did, perfectly. With daylight to spare.

We use wood (birch) in the little wood stove.

Fantastic ! That is something I've never done. I've only shot a bow a couple of times at a target.

This was before we got the wood stove. My husband had to go to Missouri to pick up one daughter from basic training and I was home for two days by myself so I made this rabbit. Basted with honey, ground mustard, butter and thyme. It was my favorite fire cooked meal.
