My entire life. I have talked with, listened to the older generation. A wealth of knowledge. Willing to share there knowledge. All you have to do is strike up a conversation.
Good that your wife makes you stop to take a break. She cares for yeah!! And you got to meet an old timer!!!!!

Meh depends, large majority of older people around here are .....yeah not the same quality of many. Seems 75+ is good ... younger....well lots of conversation about how bad trump is ,beer , asking for money, women and...yeah.

The cool old guys with a lot of knowledge are becoming more and more few and far between round here unfortunately according to dad most of the really good ones I'd would have loved with all the woods knowiand the like died off right after I was born

I was getting new tires and a 4 wheel alignment on my Tacoma this morning. An old guy comes in for a minor issue and wants to talk. Turns out he's a pretty interesting character...89 years old and still sharp as a tack. Got a chance to meet my neighbor's father who was in his early nineties. He recently passed, but was also quite sharp and funny.

The older I get, the more I appreciate folks like that!
