I'm pretty sure that those of us who grew up setting 48's by hand figured out some of these techniques many years ago.
The only thing I don't like about Belisles are those stiff safety hooks, I like to be able to flip them on with a flip of the wrist. I have figured a way to loosen them up though.


Waggles, watch how I position the safeties on the Belisle before compressing the spring. Just a flick if the finger and they are set.
