If she is happy because I am happy then I guess so

If I have to be miserable for her to be happy then forget it

Hard to tell when mine is happy.
I purposely screw up about every 2 months (not marriage ending screwup). When you do that, she'll go off on you for that which subsequently results in her not nitpicking on the little things for about 2 months. Then you just wash, rince, repeat.
38 years of marital bliss.

"Are you a happy wife happy life guy?"

I am. 28+ years. We do everything together. Yesterday we went coon calling, today I took her shopping. I would not change it for the world.

No. I’m a mutual respect kinda man. If she’s wrong she is wrong and if I’m wrong I’m wrong. We talk about it and move on.

Slightly annoyed wife, amusing life also works. lol

To be honest we are both happy. And if one of us isn’t, we talk about it. I know it’s a novel concept for some of y’all who have been married a mess of times. But they are people too and you aren’t always right. Not always wrong either. Just gotta be teammates or battle buddies. Whatever works for y’all.

I’ve only been married to one woman for about 20 years or so. So don’t have the wealth of experience some have.

I do make a pretty good living as a kept man and a wife moocher. So there is that.

Hope y’all have a happy thanksgiving. I’m gonna take the boys after some geese and ducks in the morning before dinner.

Be thankful for all the blessings you have.

My wife and I dated for close to 6 years before marriage, been married 33 years. She is my best friend and biggest supporter. We don’t always see eye to eye but have the same goals and respect each others opinions.

She took me on a date tonight. Had a 6-pack of my favored beer iced down, drove me to the lake to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant and then to Andy’s for a frozen custard. I think she is expecting something later tonight.

It has been a partnership, I don’t intentionally (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) her off, but if she gets mad I really couldn’t give a darn if it’s something I want to do.

She has learned to lay on the back deck of the boat and sunbathe while I fish.

For those who remember BuckNE, he gave some solid marital advice circa 2015 that I use weekly. Just tell your wife "youre probably right". They don't know if you're agreeing with them or disagreeing with them. But you know the real answer. I have found they normally stop nagging after that.

39 Years last Saturday. My hunting, fishing and trapping partner. If you want to be treated like a king you gotta treat them like a queen IMO.

Meh to an extent. Making her happy is one of my favorite things in life but I'm not gonna just be a "yes dear " type of guy or let standard go out the window so she won't be upset for a day or two. Seen that way too much with other guys my age not gonna make the same mistake.

But we try pretty hard to properly communicate and give and take and all that so it works out . If I'm wrong I'm wrong and will admit it and she does the same. I'm not always right she's now always right.Kiss make up ...but where both a lil crazy in the mental department so there is some leeway there for stuff . Certain stuff dealing with each other we understand

They can be volatile! I married the first one twice just to be sure it was that bad. My third wife is my high school sweethearts younger Sister. She knows how lucky she is.
