At least; if we have a big bad snow we have a quad. Last time we had a rough one we drove to my moms and aunts and shoveled their driveways so I know I could get to my traps If absolutely need be. I just hate to drive my ranger in it cause of the rear wheel drive

That snow should get you some access back into some good fur country. away from the roads.

My snowsled is still being worked on.Around here not much area left anymore where there are no roads.

Too bad.Frozen rivers and creeks open up some prime trapping country here.Nothing like breaking trail on a frozen creek on a well managed beaver line.Pond after pond after pond for miles.
Much of the land here is inacessable except in winter when it is wide open.
You must have a lot of beaver habitat in Maine?

To many roads around here.Most you can do is hit a deadwater for a couple miles with 2 to 3 beaver flowages

Here too, started just before 9 am, and supposed to get 2-4 " by dark.
