Use to love Liver & Onions but to many diseases out here now,
the newest being CWD ~ won't eat it any more


If I give everything ~ is it enough?

Any toxins that deer has ever ingested will be in the liver.

Not sure that's true, though you hear that all the time, and..I'm not a liverologist so maybe?
But I think any toxins and impurities get processed by the liver, removed from the blood stream and then eliminated as a waste product...the liver itself should be just....liver

The liver in your picture should not be eaten. The pits and tunnels you see in the cut pieces of raw liver are from liver flukes.

Also, liver fluke pose no threat or danger to humans, especially when cooked.
Not a problem. Know it or not ..... odds are, you've eaten worse. smile

No deer liver for this old boy. I used to enjoy calves liver, don't ebven where you can get it. Give me some back straps !

We ate beef liver once a week as a kid, cause it was cheap, never liked it, didn't help that mom couldn't cook the stuff, lol
Deer liver is waaay better, only thing better is pork liver, just got to cook it right....
