I have a question for you guys. Were Fox that easy to catch back then? Or were they still difficult? I'm not trying to take away from their skill or anything, just curious. Thats a feat that I can only ever dream of doing. Fox were easy back in the day … they’d just walk in the fur shed.. skin and put themselves up lol … the men posting those pictures know what they’re doing
Insert profound nonsense here

I always dreamed of having a barn covered in fox like some of the old pictures but never seemed to be able to catch more than a few dozen per season. Then I realized we didn't have the high population like some states seem to have. The fewer the critters, the harder they are to catch.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I didn't mean it like that Savell, I know they know what they're doing. I just didn't know if it was easier then than it is now. Like I said, I wasn't trying to bash anyone for anything and I know they're very skilled.

Thats a feat that I can only ever dream of doing. Fox are easy if numbers are up,..I wouldn't get to caught up figuring how to obtain success . Harvest numbers are short and have been. ( no ones) trapping! You want fox? Dig a hole,. deep,. make him/her work the reward,..repeat.

Thats a feat that I can only ever dream of doing. Some areas have alot more fox then other areas.Where I lived growing up most people could catch a couple. The best trappers caught around 20 to 30.That would be a good days catch in some states.
