Let’s see them folks.

The Mrs wanted bright colors and flashiness for the grandbaby. I like the traditional woodsy motif.

I won. lol

The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

There was a time when the kids were little that a bought Christmas tree was not in the budget, so I'd go cut the nicest red cedar I could find, the branches were a little weak to hang ornaments on, and you didn't get that sprucy smell, but it served the purpose and it was free, lol
My grandma used to snap ff a spruce branch and shove it in a flower pot with a couple red ribbons and viola!, Christmas tree!
Charlie Brown had nothing on us.... grin

Hobbie just try the guitar, still not great.. my 8 year old is in piano lessons, I learn along with her. But she picks it up way better then I do.

My aunt came down from New mexico, she went to an auction and wanted that piano, I told her I doubt it would go over 10 dollars, she thought I was crazy. Ended up buying it for 7.50. Well she had no way to get it home, and asked if she could store it until the next time she was down and bring the truck and trailer... as it was here kendell wanted me to teach her, other then Mary had a little lamb, or a beginer youtube song every now and then I couldn't teach her a thing. But I knew a guy that does lessons, me and his wife are good friends so I called him up and kendell who is backwards started lesson. This has helped her come out of her shell. Anyways she called my aunt and told her she started lessons, my aunt was so excited she said we could just keep the piano, honestly I don't think she wanted to move it and found an excuse...lol but worked out for us.

1st lesson David gave kendell home work, 2nd lesson she played the home work and he asked how it went I said she was bored, it was too easy every since she gets 3 to 4 pages of homework. He said she has picked it up as fast and any of his better students. So I'm pretty sure she is a natural. Day one we brought it home and her mother who is musically inclined, never played the piano with in 30 minutes was playing 3 songs. We take her to lessons and play along with her lol 3 lessons for price of one. But the girls have way more ability than me.

That’s great!! I feel like I’ve got a good handle on the guitar but man the keyboard is giving me a fit. lol

Keep after it, nobody ever said, “I wish I never learned how to play an instrument.”
