If you wanna have the experience of it, get in an ice bath then chop a trap bed out of a concrete sidewalk. lol

Kneeling they can chip ice and frozen ground into your face. Just my experience over 55 + years.

I like a straight digging blade, too. The angled blade throws the dirt clods back towards me.

You guys must have lot of money to buy special hammers. I just use a ball peen hammer. Bust up the frozen ground then dig it out. Since you guys drive to all your sets plus are rich from hard work why not use a cordless hammer drill? What I used putting in ground rods when I'd wire a house or barn.

Lol grin
I like it as one less tool I have to carry as I don't have to have a separate trowel

These are my two standby digging tools. Some of these are pretty old. I torch my hammers and get them hot to bend the blade to the angle I want. I have several spares in the event I break or damage a handle. Good for single hand or two handed use.

Super stakes are over kill in my opinion. Way too hard to drive and pull. I make my own stakes. Not too hard to drive and not too bad to retreive.

A barbwire wrapped hammer would probably work good for Mescin whackin'.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

But did you dig the iron ore from the earth by hand, forge it and hammer it into shape on your scrotum? Or are you a sissy?

Still say a female with an English or Australian accent would take your movies to the next level. Just try it in a high voice next time and we can give you some feedback.

I think you will find you will need to wrap some tape or that slip proof grit tape made for stairways to help you get a comfortable grip on that digging tool.

You work that tool all day I think it won't be very good on your hand(s). I have had one of those in my hands before, looked it over and set it back down.

Some may find it meets their needs just fine. I hope you find it suits you on your line and soil conditions.
