Once while on a drunken fishing binge on an abandoned railroad bridge over the Barge (Erie) canal near Lyons, N.Y I chewed the head off an American Eel for a $5.00 bounty. This was after earning about $20.00 gnawing the heads off various fish species while in this drunken stupor !!! That spectacle won't ever happen again as one can not ever get Eel slime off your tongue !!! Anybody got a cracker !!! Last edited by walleyed; 12/12/24 06:58 AM. They would have me try many dishes but not tell me what the meat was. I asked why and they said you liked it but if we told you what it was you would change your mind!
