Things in a week vs just one job?

I work at the hospital and at the house

No telling what I will be doing at the house

Hospital is same general thing but every case is different

Do you see that most ER patients are Medicaid? It is here in small-town USA. Population of 600.
A gal came to ER with a broken fingernail. Most way young to have health problems but just too lazy to take care of themselves.

Retired but still work 6 months at Baxter.

Trapping. Sometimes I have to take vacation to keep up. Still beaver call coming in. The local newspaper/radio station are looking to do an interview with me. Not sure if I want to yet. Be a lot more calls after that, and most people want it done for free…lol

Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm day job with communications company
0530-0730 and 5:30pm until whenever…trapping.
Weekends (sometimes Friday) working at plantation with quail hunts.
Some nights dusk until 10-11pm thermal hunting or 0330 until 0530-0730 anytime I think it’s a good time to call.

Day job, nuisance trap, mow yards, officiate basketball/softball

I don't think so

I am in a elective procedure department and don't deal with payment/insurance though

Have not worked ER in years

heavy equipment operator form 44 up to 97.5 Hrs a week. In my spare time I'm doing work on my farm and volunteering with 4H.

I live on a Yukon border trapline.....a million things....

mechanical, snowmachine/quad/generator/chainsaw

Carpentry, cabins/sheds/outhouses

Forestry work, trails/firewood

Trapping and then skinning

Part time soldier/ Canadian Ranger

Then more mechanical repairs.......and oh yeah packing water....

I have 3 full time jobs (more less).

I work a full time plus extra stuff at home for an extra income.

Equipment Operator for my 40 (more like 55-60). Concession stands on weekends. Help out my Amish friend to deliver steel in the evenings. Run my dogs in my spare time to prepare for field trial season

Are we doing the right thing? I’m guessing we are all doing it for the same reason, security of some form but is it really worth shorting our time with those that love us?

Depends if what your doing you can include them...When I was fishing, I'd take my son along to "help" and learn the business, he learned enough to stay far away from any water jobs, lol
My daughter often accompanied my wife at art shows, she became a very good seller and a good artist on her own.
If you can't include them somehow then yeah, you may need to examine your life. But most people need to do what they can to keep the lights on, often that means less family time.

dishes, small engine mechanic, car mechanic, diesel mechanic, gunsmith, engineer, handyman, lawn service provider, technology fixer for everyone who knows me welder.
