Normally about 75-100 trappers from Fairbanks show up at the monthly meetings at the Dog Mushers Hall on Farmers Loop; first Tuesday of each month.

If you wish to look at them or speak with them, that would be a really good place to start!

What good does it do to leave the marten alone when you're surrounded by other trappers? I have trapped in an area that was "left alone" for around 5 years. Good marten numbers the last time I was in the area. Very few when I came back. Lower Nowitna.

I attended one of their meetings last year. But I don’t have the time to go there right now. Maybe next month or next season…
