I walk many miles a week. I see lots or road kill, grinners, ground hogs, rabbits, squirrels, birds, snakes etc. and coons. The coons are the last carcasses the buzzards, crows and grinners work on! I keep that in mind when I am thinking about utilizing some coon meat. I put coon fat out for the birds in the winter instead of buying suite and it lasts a long time.

Yes, many people eat coon. We have a trapper here in Iowa that says he will be closing in on 3000 coon next week. ( Next Gen Trapper on You Tube) This guy says he has a meat market somewhere for all the coon he catches.
