A homestead is not complete, to my way of thinking, without a plethora of outbuildings. You've all heard, "A place for everything, everything in it's place"? All right, maybe I do go a bit overboard (with the 8 outbuildings I've got), but they're all functional with a special purpose. Anybody else an outbuilding junky like me? This is the "stink shed" which houses all my lure and urine separate from the traps, so they don't get contaminated with smells. This is the "banya", of wood-fired steambath on the left, and, of course, the woodshed on the right. Notice the horned owl peeking out? Closer up of the steambath. Lisa's "she-shed", which serves a combination of purposes. From the left, clockwise, is the greenhouse, garden shed (for storing the tillers, etc.), and the "Taj Mahen", or chicken coop. The garden shed. And a closer view of the garden shed. In addition, we have a "trap shed" and a garage/shop, which are not shown. Jack

I just wish, 330! If I had 30 outbuildings, I still don't think I'd be organized then. Jack

Too nice!
My artistry is expressed via OSB, used T 111, and old rusty tin. DaveP - I have access to lots of lodgepole pine, and I have a sawmill. It's an obsession to use them. Jack

You and I, Sharon, are both in magical places to view the rest of the world, should we decide to do so.

Here in Pa you would be taxed to death by all the buildings. My gosh it looks too organized for me.....jk

Twolines -
Yes, I've got a Wood Mizer. It may not look like it, but all the outbuildings are made with 2-sided logs. That way. each log has a big bearing surface for the next log up, and is better-insulated and more stable. When the logs are all peeled and are 2-sided, construction takes about a day. The roof is usually done the second day.
