TEJAS OP trapper Joined: Jul 2017 Posts: 1,530 South Texas Brush Country	I’ve been trying to get photos of this buck for quite a while. He suffered a substantial fighting injury late last season. His right ear drooping is a direct result of the injury. He is down antler-wise from the last two seasons. Hopefully he will make a rebound next year as a seven year old.

TEJAS OP trapper Joined: Jul 2017 Posts: 1,530 South Texas Brush Country	Even with good photos it is hard to judge some deer.. He had 27 & 28 inch main beams, and a inside spread just over 25. When the tines have a curve to them they are usually longer than they appear.. Two tines were over 12 inches, and one was over 11.. The old buck scored 193 and change..

rick olson trapper Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 7,334 Northern Mn	Yep he fooled me,when I got home from the hockey game I took more time and looked at the second picture and saw more than I did the first quick look.I still would have been off,my guess would have been 188",but it's always fun to guess normally I can guess with 5" or less.I know my friends always ask me to score picture's of deer and can't get over how close most of my guesses are.
