[quote=Spike369]I bought one just before season and found the same thing. I put it in the junk pile and chalked it up as a bad investment. I don't own a welder or soldering gun nor do I have the will to learn how to use either one. I'm 70 years old, lost a kidney to cancer, lost my thyroid, appendix, and gall bladder, had a knee replacement, I have degerative disc disease that's starting to give me headaches, my shoulder needs replaced and my heart is pumping because I have a pacemaker. No when I buy something I kinda expect it to work like advertised.

No when I buy something I kinda expect it to work like advertised. I do not disagree with your expectation but if it does not work as expected, I am not going to just toss it. The dealer I bought it from or the manufacturer (or both) are going to hear about it. If I am doing something wrong, they can straighten me out. If they have a problem, like this case, they should make it right. And having dealt with the manufacturer in this case, I absolutely believe they will make it work the way it is supposed to.

If they don’t fix it, send it to me and I will! Life is too short to buy equipment and then throw it away! It is a simple fix to get it up to speed. Pm me if you decide to take me up on my offer. Lee

Good ole Lee! I’m sure NoBS will look after you. I’ve noticed this character trait like Lee has is alive in a lot of trappers, always helping a guy out! Top notch people!
