rick olson trapper Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 7,334 Northern Mn	68 lbs about 37 years ago,I don't trap a lot of beavers maybe 400,I'm more into the canine trapping.Many years ago I trapped 41 in 5 days not real good beaver country about 20 locations over about a 120 mile loop.The most I ever caught in a season was 68.

I said, "That ought to be enough." Everybody in there just stared at me, wondering what kind fish had I caught. I went back to my truck a waddled in with that beaver and they all started howling with laughter. I don't know of anyone in Virginia who has caught a bigger one, but I don't know everyone who traps here either.
