Many wonder why our sports world is where it is at today and the above posts demonstrate exactly why it is the way it is. That is what we want today. We now see betting odds on each game instead of stats, data, wins, losses and that is just for the game and nothing about salaries and who goes where and for what amount. All the baseball cards I used to get or collect had seasons, stats and today we have some computer and programer doing all that work for us. We are getting mentally lazy. Pretty soon we will have Hall of Fame inductees based on computer odds instead of data. Going to be tougher for good players that stay with average or below teams to get the credit they may well deserve.
